OUR RENTAL HOUSE - PART TWO
In the bathrooms we did a much bigger renovation. We pulled out the builder basic linoleum in both bathrooms and installed tile. We were able to keep our vanities and sinks, but pulled out the original counter tops and installed matching super white granite counter tops. In the main bathroom we took down the mirror and light fixture and tiled the entire wall, then reinstalled the light fixture vertically and had a local glass shop cut down the old mirror into 2 mirrors. We also tiled the other walls of the bathroom up to the height of the backsplash using white subway tile.
In the ensuite, we wallpapered the entire room in a dark wallpaper. It made the room feel much more luxe and showed off the 9 ft ceilings. We used a gold framed mirror that we found for free!
