OUR HOLIDAY CARDS 2018
Earlier this year I had big dreams of getting new family pictures taken in the mountains. I wanted to update our photos around the house and send our photo cards to everyone back in Saskatchewan. Well that didn't exactly work out! But we did take a spontaneous day trip in October and I quickly learned that it's a lot colder in Banff than it is in Calgary, LOL!
I put aside the fact that I wore a pair of flats in the snow and the fact that I was FREEZING and took some new family photos. They didn't turn out very well. (Next year I'm planning ahead and getting a professional...and proper shoes!) I also put aside the fact that they didn't turn out very well and attempted to create a photo card anyways. It was an exercise in frustration!
Just as I was about to give up I noticed these Fujifilm retro prints from Walmart and knew they were going to be perfect! They are the cutest, I love how I could add a line of text to each card and the retro look suits my style! (I suggested to my daughter that we order a few to send to her penpals from Regina because they turned out so well.)
Finally I added a business card sized magnet to the back of each card making them perfect for displaying on the fridge. I kept a couple for my own fridge and I can't get over how much I love them! (I typically don't hang anything on my fridge so you know they have to be cute!)
*Disclaimer - All opinions are my own, I have not been compensated by Walmart for this post and was not provided with any discounts or free products. I just really love how my cards turned out!
